The Side of Good - The Side of Evil - Flipbook Anthology

CLASSIC GOOD VERSUS EVIL – eSpec Books and editors Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Greg Schauer are proud to announce their newest project, The Side of Good / The Side of Evil, a superhero/supervillain fiction anthology. The project is being funded through a Kickstarter campaign scheduled to end on August 13.

The idea for this superhero/supervillian anthology began on a car trip with CJ Henderson and Danielle Ackley-McPhail while enroute to the National Haunter’s Convention in Pennsylvania about four years ago. Now it is becoming a reality.

The collection will include stories by comic book and literary masters James M. Ward, Peter David, Bryan J.L. Glass, Keith R.A. DeCandido, Aaron Rosenberg, Bob Greenberger, Gail Z. Martin, Janine K. Spendlove, James Chambers, John L. French, Kathleen David, Walt Ciechanowski, and Neal Levin and this collection is guaranteed to be…no matter which side you pledge your allegiance to. Features a never-before-published FuriousTM short story.

Superheroes are cool. Supervillains a guilty pleasure. Superheroes inspire us to be more than we can be, and on the flip side, Supervillains are reminders of the potential for darkness within us all. Everyone loves a hero…but sometimes we can’t help but root for the villain… Indulge both impulses with this nostalgic flipbook anthology—The Side of Good / The Side of Evil. After all, everyone is the hero of their own story and sometimes a change in perspective can make a world of difference.

Sara Bellum
The name's Sara Bellum, and I'm the editor-at-large here at BuzzyMag - the hostess with the mostess, if you will. I like to think that my first calling is fighting crime and delivering a heaping dose of sweet, sweet justice to all manner of thugs, miscreants, hoodlums, ruffians, and ne'er-do-wells, but unfortunately, violent vigilantism doesn't exactly pay big bucks these days.

Times are tough, my friends, and I've got bills to pay, so I decided to put my encyclopedic knowledge of all things sci-fi & fantasy-related to use to help me land a day job. To tell you the truth, it's kind of a nice change of pace. My manicures have been lasting a bit longer lately.
