Dream Date With Joe Manganiello Contest

You know I’m a simple gal, a beer and waffles would be perfect for me. Good combo, booze, and good food. That’s all you need for a good time

My dream date with Joe would start off with going to a fun Latin (or salsa) dance club on the beach somewhere (I am not picky), where I would be able to see how well a dancer Joe is while also being the envy of ever lady there. We would follow the dancing with a lovely candle lit dinner, where we could talk, laugh, and just be able to listen to him talk. Following dinner would be a moonlit walk on the beach where we could continue talking, or be crazy and have a fun time swimming or trying to throw one another in the water.

OK ladies, it’s my turn. This is a fantasy excerpt taken from 50 Shades of Grey & adapted for Joe & Myself. I know, I know – the book is so “Mary Sue” and I am about to bring it to the next level for myself. : )

I meet Joe Manganillo at Comic-Con on the autograph line. I hand him a photo for autographing - he smiles at me and I blush. After I walk away with his autograph, he asks his assistant to call me back to see if I would want to have a cup of coffee with him.

(Fast forward to the evening after the romantic part where he wines and dines me)

“Suddenly Joe grabs me, tipping me across his lap. With one smooth movement, he angles his body so my torso is resting on the bed beside him. He throws his right leg over both mine and plants his left forearm on the small of my back, holding me down so I cannot move … He places his hand on my naked behind, softly fondling me, stroking around and around with his flat palm. And then his hand is no longer there … and he hits me—hard.” ……..

Joe relaxes momentarily, so I feel his entire, delicious weight on me. I’m not ready to let him go, my body craving relief, but he’s so heavy, and in tha tmoment, I can’t push against him. All of a sudden, Joe withdraws, leaving me aching and hungry for more. He glares down at me….

The evening has just begun.

Dear Joe Manganiello,

My dream date would be simple, which is just the way I like it. I would go out with you to a restaurant, but not somewhere fancy as I don’t want to be pampered - I just want everything to be casual between us. We would get burgers and fries, and talk about whatever comes to mind for a few hours. Then we would leave a take a walk under a full moon. Not only is the Moon beautiful, but when it’s full, the light it reflects from the Sun casts a magical glow over everything on Earth. I would love to see you smiling at me as the moonlight illuminates your face. And as we are walking, we still continue to find things to talk about. The conversation comes easy and there is no tension between us - it’s just fun, friendly, and a little flirty. Finally, as the night comes to a close and we must leave each other, you give me a peck on the cheek and a huge bear hug (or is that wolf hug?), and then you drive off as the darkness slowly rolls back to reveal the sunrise. I would be thrilled and I would treasure that date with you forever.

I’d like us to meet at the Met and spend the morning going through the latest temporary exhibition and end at the Temple of Dendur. Then we would take a carriage ride through Central Park to the Boathouse for a late lunch followed by taking out a rowboat. After a lazy afternoon around the lake (with music because everything is better with music) , we would head to Battery Park to fly a kite and watch the sunset. I always like a daytime date for a first time and since this is also an only time I think this would be perfect.

My dream date would be an evening spent getting to know each other. A few hours of dancing and a dinner at a spot with a great vIew like the Starlight Room at Union Square in San Francisco. Maybe that seems old fashioned but its so romantic.
