Arr, matey! Adventure upon the high seas awaits you with the Pirate Ship in a Bottle kit. Build your own replica of Queen Anne’s Revenge, beloved vessel of Captain Blackbeard, as you read all about the infamous pirate in the accompanying book.

The kit comes complete with the tools and parts you’ll need to build the miniature ship: a glass bottle, cork, and seal; perforated art-paper pieces to construct the sails, hull, water, etc.; thread for rigging the ship; a wooden construction tool; and step-by-step instructions.

Practice the intricate art of building a ship-in-a-bottle. Display your handiwork on your mantle at home or your desk at work, so all your friends and family can appreciate your sense of adventure and your spirit of creation.

Once you’ve completed the model, immerse yourself in the fantastic tale of Blackbeard the pirate. The fully illustrated copy of Blackbeard will thrill you with a detailed account of the ill-fated pirate’s terrorizing and bloody conquests. Relax in your favorite chair, perhaps beside a roaring fire, where you glance up to the mantle and admire your own Queen Anne’s Revenge, and…set sail with history’s most notorious buccaneer!

I would like to win this prize because many years ago when the husband and I lived in Savannah my husband tried to make a ship in a bottle but our beloved dog, Cindur, was jealous of the time he was spending on it. When he left the project to go answer the phone she took the ship and crunched it into bits of kindling and hid the pieces under her doggie bed. when my husband cam back in the room Cindur dove onto her bed and refused to move from it for a long time but would on occasion hack up a bit of wood as he looked about for hs missing boat. True story. Ask him.
